Friends of Solano Commission for Women and Girls
I am very excited to announce that the first meeting of the Friends of the Solano Commission for Women and Girls met on August 18th to begin the discussions of forming a 501(c)3 to support the activities and provide funding for the commission. The cities represented; Vacaville, Dixon, Rio Vista, Vallejo, Suisun City, Fairfield, and Benicia; all agreed to serve on the founding board. With the board's formation, we can now submit the Articles of Incorporation to the Attorney General's Office.
We look forward to raising funds and awareness for the commission committed to strengthening the lives of women and girls in our county through economic and social development.
